Nikita Chintalapudi Wins 2012 Oratory Contest

Nikita Chintalapudi, a homeschooled junior high schooler from Cary, NC, is the 2012 winner of the North Carolina Right to Life (NCRTL) Oratory Contest. Nikita will represent NCRTL at the Jane B. Thompson Oratory Contest being held in conjunction with the National Right to Life Convention on June 30 at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City, just outside DC. Abigail Reimel from Wilmington, NC is the 2nd place winner.

Nathan Wilson from Raleigh was one of the three contestants.  Although he did not place, he gave a very good speech. All three contestants received a Precious Feet Pin, an Abortion Stops a Beating Heart bumper sticker, a Choose Life magnet, a pro-life ring and bracelet, a Rose lapel sticker, as well as several pro-life brochures.


The three judges for the competition are all members of the NCRTL Board of Directors: Nancy J. R. Wells (Greensboro), Melinda Snyder, M. D. (Butner), and Amy Huffman (Burlington). The judges were very impressed by the speeches of each of the three contestants.
