Hello!
My name is Erin Karlovich, and I am the new Assistant Director for North
Carolina Right to Life. I’d like to
share a little bit about me.
I
grew up in Hillsdale, Michigan, a small town close to the Ohio and Indiana
borders and home of Hillsdale College, from which I graduated in May with a
degree in English. During my first year of college, I attended the March for Life
in Washington, D.C., which inspired me to get more involved in my campus
Students for Life club. After serving as treasurer for the club my sophomore
year, I was elected president for the next year. I enjoyed my time as president
so much that I started to seriously consider working in the pro-life movement
full-time. That led me to the National Right to Life Academy in D.C., which I
attended in 2011. There, I studied under some of the world’s greatest pro-life
leaders, learned how to present the pro-life arguments knowledgably and
effectively, and made more friends than I thought was possible!
This
past summer, I was delighted to return to the Academy in the role of
co-director. This position gave me more experience and allowed me to help train
the next class of pro-life leaders. Now, I’m excited to join North Carolina
Right to Life and thankful for the opportunity to put my pro-life knowledge and
passion to good use. My biggest project is organizing North Carolina’s first
Camp Joshua, a weekend summer camp for high school students. Stay tuned for
more details about it! I’ll also be writing for this blog, so be sure to check
back often for new posts.
Thanks
for taking the time to learn a little more about me, and thanks for your
support of NCRTL!
